Long Ridge is a private equity firm that specializes in financial and business technology. They are different from other firms in their space, taking a more nuanced and academic approach. Capital alone only gets you so far. They specialize in the “deep dive” and have a reputation for a highly committed approach to their partnerships. As they have pulled away from the pack the need emerged for a site and new branding that reflected their status and ethos. We welcomed the opportunity to listen, create and elevate.

People, Portfolio, Performance are the “three P’s” of Private Equity marketing. In a great firm like this one, the people come first. We teamed up with top photographer Dominic Episcopo, to shoot the team in their office and took the time to produce a suite of photos that transend the standard yearbook-style headshots. They were rockstars, it was fun, and we think the results speak for themselves.

We put ourselves in the shoes of a hypothetical prospect and asked “What makes Long Ridge uniquely positioned to solve my problem?” We then built a site dedicated to answering that question.

A new logo that elevated what they’d built themselves.

One of the founders of the firm had actually designed their legacy logo. So there was not only brand equity but serious and deserved pride of authorship. They were ready to evolve it, but wanted to preserve the DNA and keep the effort collaborative. We worked with them hands on to craft the new logo and can say with sincerity that if this private equity thing doesn’t work we’re holding a spot for them at DurkanGroup as an identity/brand designer.

The Results

The new site has elevated Long Ridge. From the high end design aesthetic, photography and meaningful motion to the messaging, the site is a digital representation of who Long Ridge is at its core. We have had several private equity firms reach out to us as a result of seeing the Long Ridge site.

Launch Website
